Discovery

Ghislain has discovered the world of high-speed photography in the Book "Caught in Motion" written by the English photographer Stephen Dalton. It was in the middle of the eighties, and it changed his photographic work for ever. His unique pictures told him that he had still many things to learn for the world of butterflies. But there are many difficulties to handle in order to take shots of flying insects. Then, it took more than ten years before to be able to finalize his very first exhibition dedicated to flying butterflies. This exhibition called "Butterflies" was hung at the international wildlife festival of Montier-en-Der in 2005. Along with the prints, he displayed a text explaining the key role of Stephen Dalton.

But, at that time, he couldn’t even imagine that seven years later, in 2012, he will hang a joint exhibition prepared together with the master Stephen Dalton himself !
