Dragonflies have survived from old ages without great morphological changes compared to their Cretaceous ancestors, 360 million years ago. Since the laws of evolution are implacable, there is only one possible explanation for this exceptional longevity: dragonflies are very well adapted to their environment, both in terms of their reproduction method and their feeding method.
